Dear reader,

My name is Pablo Alejandro Sánchez Rodríguez and I am extremely honoured to serve as Under Secretary General in RomeMUN 2018.

Coming from Spain, after graduating in Granada in a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Law, I am pursuing now a Master’s Degree in International Studies in the incredible city of Rome. I have served as Director in UN Women and President of the United Nations Security Council in RomeMUN 2016 and 2017. After these amazing experiences, RomeMUN is not another conference for me, but my family, the right place to be, now as USG.

Deeply passionate on International Relations, I worked for the European Commission as EU Careers Ambassador in my University and I can speak Spanish, English, French, and a bit of Chinese. I have participated in several international and national simulations, apart from having created two youth associations and a MUN in my home region. On a less serious face, I am also a Star Wars fan, ski instructor at weekends, and a hopeless romantic.

RomeMUN and the whole International Careers Festival give every talented student the possibility to have an international perspective on their career, to go forward and explore their limits.

All you need is Rome!

It has completely changed my life and I am sure that RomeMUN will let you know very interesting people, but even more importantly, knowing yourself when stepping outside the comfort zone.
